Conventional Tactical Muzzle Brake

Installation Instructions

1. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS CONCERNING YOUR ABILITY TO REMOVE AND INSTALL A MUZZLE BRAKE, YOU SHOULD CONSULT A COMPETENT GUNSMITH BEFORE PROCEEDING. IF THE BARREL IS NOT THREADED OR THE FLASH SUPPRESSOR IS PINNED, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO CONSULT A COMPETENT GUNSMITH FOR INSTALLATION.

2. BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE UNLOADED ANY AND ALL AMMUNITION FROM THE FIREARM BY REMOVING THE MAGAZINE AND CLEARING THE CHAMBER. BE SURE TO MAKE A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE CHAMBER TO ENSURE THE CHAMBER IS EMPTY.

3. PROPERLY SECURE THE BARREL IN A VISE TO REMOVE THE FLASH SUPPRESSOR AND ALSO TO INSTALL THE CONVENTIONAL TACTICAL MUZZLE BRAKE.

4. REMOVE THE FACTORY INSTALLED FLASH SUPPRESSOR AND THE CRUSH WASHER.

5. USE A SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF ANIT-SEIZE OR ANY OTHER LIKE PRODUCT ON THE THREADS OF THE RIFLE BARREL PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE TACTICAL MUZZLE BRAKE.

6. INSTALL THE MUZZLE BRAKE ON THE BARREL USING THE CRUSH WASHER SUPPLIED WITH OUR MUZZLE BRAKE. THE CONVEX SIDE, WHICH HAS THE SMALLER DIAMETER, SHOULD BE INSTALLED TOWARD THE BARREL. THE CONCAVE SIDE, WHICH HAS THE LARGER DIAMETER, SHOULD BE INSTALLED TOWARD THE MUZZLE BRAKE.

7. HAND TIGHTEN THE MUZZLE BRAKE INITIALLY TO ENSURE IT IS THREADED PROPERLY ONTO THE BARREL THREADS. IF THE MUZZLE BRAKE IS NOT THREADED PROPERLY ONTO THE BARREL, THE MUZZLE BRAKE MAY NOT PERFORM AS DESIGNED. THIS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

8. USING THE CORRECT TOOL FOR YOUR FIREARM, TIGHTEN THE MUZZLE BRAKE USING THE FLATS THAT ARE MACHINED ON THE THREADED END OF OUR MUZZLE BRAKE.
