Muzzle Brake Maintenance for Conventional & Shielded Muzzle Brake

1. Remove the muzzle brake from the firearm when routinely cleaning the firearm.

2. Clean the internal threads of the conventional muzzle brake and the external and internal threads of the shielded muzzle brake as well as the threads on the barrel.  This is necessary to ensure that any carbon accumulated between the threads is removed.

3. When installing the conventional and the shielded muzzle brake on the firearm it is necessary to apply anti seize or a like product to all external and internal threads.

4. Failure to perform this routine maintenance and applying anti seize to the threads could result in failure to be able to remove the muzzle brake or the muzzle brake shield from the firearm.
